Ceramic colour coats - high resistance
Ceramic colour coats belong to the toughest and most resistant types of coating that can be applied to an object and/or building element. They are marked by high chemical resistance when applied with the right method.
So-called plasma spraying is one option. Ionised and dissociated glass, referred to as plasma by the experts, is mixed here with the desired coating additives at up to 30,000 degree; with other words: The additives are melted onto the surface at these temperatures.
This mix is sprayed with high pressure onto the object to be coated. Because of the enormous temperatures, any material can basically be used as coating, whereby ceramic possesses the best properties and is most commonly used. The plasma spraying method provides a uniformly dense coat.
